Regional Commissioner Nominations are Now Open!

Our current Regional Commissioner is retiring at the end of the 2025 Membership Year (July 31, 2026).

Now seeking applicants for the next Regional Commissioner!

Requirements to Apply:
(1) Applicants must be a current volunteer with AYSO
(2) Applicants must have passed the AYSO screening and background check
(3) Applicants should have read and understand the Regional Commissioner Job Description (If the PDF does not work, click here).

Application Process:
(1) Ensure all volunteer requirements are up to date (Current volunteer application on file, Risk Status updated, up to date SafeSport, trainings completed)
(2) Email your name and statement of qualifications to our Nominating Chair - ([email protected])

Process:
(1) Nominating Chair is collection applications via email
(2) List of potential candidates will be sent to the current Regional Commissioner and Area Director to confirm eligibility
(3) Voting Regional Board Members (per Regional Policies and Procedures) will convene for a meeting where the candidates will be provided an opportunity to give a statement and answer questions.
(4) Voting Regional Board Members will cast their votes, and the nominee will be notified to begin official paperwork, orientation, and training.
(5) Announcement of incoming RC will be made to the Region.
