Hesperia Heat Select/All-Star Program

Hesperia Heat Select Program

What is the Hesperia Heat Select Team?

Hesperia Heat is a program following the fall season open only to players who participated in the fall season, in U10, U12, U14 U16 and U19 divisions. This is an opportunity for players to improve their skills in a more competitive environment. Players who are interested need to attend the tryout session. While the tryouts are a great chance to showcase your skills, the coaches also assess the players during the season to see how well they perform during a game, their teamwork, and sportsmanship. The teams are formed in November, with practices starting in December. The season typically runs from mid-December through the end of June.

All-Star and Select Season 2019-2020

The season begins with participation in the All-Star tournament located in Lancaster (currently scheduled for January 12th, 18th, and 19th). After this initial tournament the All-Star team may decide to continue into the Select season. The Select season runs from January-June and normally includes 1-2 tournaments per month.

The cost for a typical All-Star and Select season combined is $600-$700. The season may be paid for in payments. The season may be paid for in payments with the initial payment (of $100) occurring by December 1stand the final payment in April. The Select season cost may be offset by fundraising opportunities.
